We sat down with married couple James and Karla Murray, who are architectural and interior photographers, multi-media artists and dedicated New Yorkers, whose passion for the landscape of the NYC has led them to publish multiple award-winning books including "The Store Front: The Disappearing Face of New York" "New York Nights" and many others. They are mainstay residents of the Lower Eastside and through their beautiful photographs have brought awareness to the changes in NYC small businesses. We talked about how they met and married decades ago, their various businesses and what led them to take such an interest in this genre of art. We also discussed the disappearance of these quaint Mom and Pop shops, which has been accelerated due to Covid. A fascinating and sweet couple, we were thrilled to have them on.
