We sat down with Comedian and Writer John Poveromo, whose keen
observations and self-deprecating humor make him a comedy club
favorite. We talked to John about being a kid from Brooklyn, who
moved to New Jersey and found his passion for drawing cartoons and
then stand-up comedy, moving to Los Angeles and then back to
New Jersey. He enjoys the art of writing a joke and having it morph
into a bit, which led him into writing assignments for various
cable shows such as ESPN Sports Nation, CNN and VH-1. John
also published a book of some of his drawings, which is extremely
impressive. Charming, quick-witted and full of energy, we enjoyed
having him on and you will enjoy him too.
