One of our all time favorite people came in to the studio for
the first time, Comedian, Actor, Writer and Ellen's mentor, Tommy
Koenig. We had the absolute best time talking to Tommy about how a
kid from Far Rockaway, Queens who wanted to be an actor, found his
way to the start of the stand-up comedy boom. He filled us with
stories about many famous comedians of today and what it was like
to do comedy from the 70's-90's. We also talked about him being
part of the TV Sitcom pilot scene, working with Sally Struthers and
going against Tom Hanks for roles. There were so many anecdotes,
that we have a Part 2 episode that will be released for the next

a brilliant one person show called "Baby Boom Baby" which he has
